What is missing when researchers develop a model they want to use to look into the future? Young international scientists, including Ferike Thom from the Thünen Institute of Farm Economics, have been thinking about this. Their point of view has now been published in The Lancet Planetary Health.

During the European Agricultural Research Congress (EAAE) in Bonn, researchers from across Europe will discuss how sustainable development in the agricultural and food industry can be achieved despite multiple crises. Several Thünen researchers have been honoured for their work.
