Past events
Through the “Wissenschaftsschaufenster”, the Thünen Institute brought research to life in the heart of Braunschweig´s city centre from June to August 2025. The events ranged from the photo exhibitions "Frauen. Leben. Landwirtschaft." and "Plate or bin?", to picture book readings for children, a climate concert and a simulation game on land use in the future.
Visitors took the opportunity to discuss with our scientists, get involved themselves and experience research up close. We took away many wonderful and inspiring impressions and look forward to similar projects in the future.
