We study the genetic diversity of our forests and analyse how it is affected by natural processes and human management. We develop strategies to protect this diversity and use our forest resources sustainably and genetically responsible.

Species and Origin Identification

We generate reference data and develop genetic markers for origin identification and species differentiation of diverse tree species. This allows us to verify declarations and document the development of biodiversity in the forest.
