New staff member - Arbnore Cakaj

Since mid-February, Arbnore Cakaj has been part of our team in the "Bio-based raw materials" department, where she will conduct research for the project "Determination of the status quo and options for action for a circular economy in the forest & wood cluster".

Arbnore Cakaj has joined our scientific team as a researcher and will analyze the current processing routes (processes, products) of wood and the possible technological usability in alternative circular production and usage paths. For this purpose, she will analyze the great potential of the raw material from different industries, their challenges and the path toward the circular economy.

She finished her Master of Architecture at the University of Pristina, where her interest in wood as a sustainable building material came from.
In addition, Arbnore Cakaj completed her master's degree at the "Poznan University of Life Sciences" in the field of Wood Science. Her interests are wood science, circular economy, bio-based building materials, wood composites, etc.
