Delegation of the Institute visits the "Roots" construction site

A group of 10 people from the Thünen Institute of Wood Research accepted the friendly invitation of Rubner Holzbau GmbH to visit the construction site of the "Roots" on 24 March 2023. Under expert guidance, we gained a good insight into the construction method and current framework conditions in timber building constructions. We were able to experience the impressive view from the 16th floor over the Hafencity - in what will be Germany's tallest timber building when it is completed.
