Environmental Technology Soil/Plant

The technical equipment for experiments and measurements is widely build in our own laboratories for electronics and optics, as well as in our mechanical workshop. Some agricultural machinery with sensor equipment and a lab for soil physics are also part of our equipment.

Our research work is largely based on practical field experiments and measurements. Our strength are self developed and self constructed experimental and measuring devices. Sometimes they have a surprisingly simple construction. In other cases, they are complex measurements systems with highly precise mechanical, electronic or optical components.

Soil Protection

In the working area soil protection, recommendations for action are developed for the farmer on the implementation of „good professional practice“ derived from field and laboratory experiments. For this purpose sensors are used to document soil conditions and to adapt to vehicle parameters.

The radar sensor detects the speed at which the straw particles leave the combine shredders. From the throw velocity the kinetic potential is derived and evaluated.
