AT Agricultural Technology

Research Infrastructure

As technically orientated institute the Institute of Agricultural Technology needs a broad variety of labs, research facilities as well as workshops. Whereas our workshops serve the research in all institute’s activity fields, additional special facilities and equipment is needed in each field of activity. Details about our facilities and equipment can be found here:

Products from Renewables

Our research on products from renewables is mainly carried out in lab-scale. The institute’s lab space account to more than 1300 m2 of which more than 800 m2 was recently build and is in operation since 2013.

Environmental Technology – Livestock husbandry

This field of activity has microbiological laboratories (S2) and test tubing systems for dust and bio-aerosols, as well as a multitude of systems for measurement and sampling of different air pollutants. Another test facility is located in a container on a farm at a chicken house. For evaluation and reduction of emissions we have a multitude of online measurement and sampling systems for different air pollutants.
