In research, special questions sometimes arise. Often the standardized tools of the testing machines are not sufficient for this. The metal workshop has various machines with which special accessories for testing equipment can be manufactured.

In the institute's own carpentry workshop, wood specimens of various dimensions are manufactured. Test equipment made of wood can also be manufactured here.
