The Thünen Institute at the "Maritime Tage" 2023

The Thünen Institute of Sea Fisheries will provide information on the potential of sustainable fishing and the marine ecosystem: because if you want to fish sustainably, you need to know not only exactly what is caught, landed or discarded by the fleets, but also be up to date on the current status of fish stocks and how they are developing.

This year, the world of fish eggs and larvae and their development will be our focus during the "Maritime Tage": From egg to fish - how the offspring changes the size of the stock.

Science to understand, experience and discover.

Together with other network partners of the PIER der Wissenschaft, we will present ourselves a few metres in front of the German Maritime Museum, "Deutsches Schifffahrtsmuseum".
