Titled “Territorial Cohesion in Peripheralised Contexts: a Comparative Study of Integrated Territorial Development Instruments in Germany and Romania”, his dissertation examines the influence of powerful policy ideas on integrated local and regional development strategies in areas outside urban agglomerations.
Alexandru Brad earned his master's degree in Urban Design and Planning at the University of Sheffield (United Kingdom) and then worked for several years at the Leibniz Institute for Regional Geography in Leipzig.
