First results of the network project were presented at the conference and discussed with experts from practice, policy and science. Recommendations for the further work of the project as well as for the final report to appear in Spring 2015 could be drafted.

In a press release from May 15, 2014 (German), the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) addressed the strongly varying extreme weather events affecting the agricultural sector which were discussed in the framework of the research project at the conference in Braunschweig.
