Background and Objective

The website was originally created in 2012 in cooperation with Utrecht University and partly updated in 2017. The aim of the actual revision is to focus on Anthelminthika-resistances, to adjust decision tools and to bring several topics up to date.

Approach

The general information on prevention, diagnostics, therapy and resistance, as well as the specific sheep+goat pages were updated by a panel of experts from practice and academia in 2024/25. The focus is now on minimizing the risk for anthelminthika-resistances and principles of a sustainable parasite management. Background information and links provide deeper knowledge.
