The Thünen Institute of Baltic Sea Fisheries in Rostock is looking for student assistants—subject to available funding—who would like to support our current research projects and third-party funded projects.

We are looking for applicants who:

• are students from at least the 3rd semester onward
• have a good to very good academic performance
• work independently and reliably
• show a high level of commitment and motivation

Your application:

If, after prior consultation with our scientific staff, you would like to contribute to current projects, please submit the following:

• name of the contact person,
• degree program, academic focus, preferred area of responsibility, and any completed vocational training (e.g. carpenter, machine operator license, etc.), and
• a short CV

Remuneration:

For work on land as a mini-job on a 603 € basis, based on TVöD-Bund pay group 2 level 1. For work aboard our vessels as a short-term position, remunerated according to TVöD-Bund pay group 2 step 1.
