Equipment General Analytics

Our general analytics comprehend various well-established chromatography and spectroscopy techniques. Those are mainly used to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the substrates and products of our biotechnical or catalytic conversion processes.

Liquid Chromatography

  • 12 HPLC systems with z.B. PDA, RI, FLD, ELSD for the determination of carboxylic acids, sugars etc. (Shimadzu, Knauer, Thermo)
  • LC- MS/MS – QTrap (LIT) for strukture determination (AB Sciex)
  • 2 ion chromatographs for the determination of anions and cations (Dionex Thermo)
  • High performance anion exchange chromatography with pulsted amperometric detection (HPAEC-PAD), e.g. for the determination of monosaccharides (Dionex Thermo)
  • Semi-preparative HPLC for the purification of higher value end products in gram scale (Knauer)
  • Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) with UV, RI und MALLS, for polymer characterisation
  • High performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) with automated sample application and analysis (Camag)
