Climate change is the greatest challenge facing our forests. In the Thünen Institutes of Forest Ecosystems, Forest Genetics, Forest Management and Wood Research, the effects of climatic changes are being researched as well as climate-resistant varieties and cycle-oriented wood use. (video 06:15)
