The three-part documentary deals with important but also amusing achievements in former East Germany and highlights the limitations of the system at that time.
As part of the documentary, Ann Hipp gave an expert interview on inventions and the patent system of the GDR. The scientific findings presented in this documentary were developed as part of the Mod-Block-DDR project.
