Thünen scientists support initiative on biodiversity and health in Madagascar

From November 19 to 20, 2021, Dr. Sven Günter and Dr. Daniel Kübler, scientists at the Thünen Institute of Forestry were invited as keynote speakers to the International Symposium on Biodiversity and Health in Mahajanga, Madagascar.

The event which highlighted the close relationship between human health and environmental integrity was jointly organized by three Madagascan ministries and the GIZ. Around 120 persons from a wide range of stakeholders participated, including the ministers for environment, health and science of Madagascar.
