Participation in the international IUFRO Conference in Prague

From May 13-17, 2025, Björn Seintsch, Cornelius Regelmann, and Lydia Rosenkranz participated in the International IUFRO Conference of Research Group 4.05 Managerial economics and accounting, entitled "Socioeconomic changes and challenges in the forest sector: acknowledging the role of managerial economics and accounting," in Prague, Czech Republic. The conference was organized by the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CZU).

As part of the conference Björn Seintsch gave a presentation on "The German Forest Accountancy Data Network (FADN): Needs analysis and conceptual development," Cornelius Regelmann gave a presentation on "Carbon and Cost Trade-offs in Decommissioned Beech Forests in Germany," and Lydia Rosenkranz gave a presentation on "The European Forest Accounts (EFA) Handbook 2024: A new framework for harmonized forest data reporting."
