From 07/2016 to 12/2020 Tatiana Ojeda worked in the LaForeT project at the Thünen Institute of Forestry. Her scientific work conducted in the project also formed the basis for her PhD thesis at Göttingen University which had the title “Linking forests and rural people: income generation, deforestation, and ecosystem services. Evidence from the Ecuadorian lowland rainforests”. On 8 March 2023 she now successfully defended her PhD thesis in an online disputation.
