On 27.11.2023, Member of Parliament Dr. Christoph Hoffmann (FDP) visited our institute to find out about our work and discuss current forest policy issues from a scientific perspective.

The main focus was on policy impact assessments, the EU regulation on deforestation-free supply chains and a brainstorming session on mobile phone-based compensation payments for forest conservation.
