Meteorological parameters such as air temperature, precipitation, humidity, wind and radiation describe the weather in the short term and the climate in the long term. They significantly determine the development of the forest and are important parameters in the water cycle. The parameters are recorded by automated measuring stations in open areas. Measurements in stands provide information on the influence of forest stands on the microclimate.
