Measurement of nitrogen and nitrous oxide emissions using closed chambers in tomato cultivation on rock wool slabs in the greenhouse

Together with colleagues from the IGZ, we have used stable isotopes to get insights in N2O production during the cultivation of tomatoes in hydroponic growing systems. The study is a first important step towards developing targeted N2O mitigation measures for these growing systems.
