"Clupea" (left, in black) is the smallest of the fisheries research vessels. With ist low drought it can also be used in shallow coastal areas.
"Solea" sails the North Sea and Baltic Sea.
"Walther Herwig III" is used not only in the North Sea and Baltic Sea, but also in the vast expanses of the Atlantic Ocean.
On the far right the outline of the new "Walther Herwig", which is currently under construction, is shown. It will be larger than the current vessel and therefore even more stable on the high seas.
On the far left (in white), the Thünen-owned working boats "Belone" and "Krabbe" are shown. They are used in the coastal shallow water areas of the North Sea and Baltic Sea.
