Congratulations on the election to the Board of Trustees of the Agrarsoziale Gesellschaft!

On October 29, 2025, Andreas Klärner was newly elected to the board of trustees of the Agrarsoziale Gesellschaft e.V. (ASG) by its general meeting. At the Thünen Institute and as an honorary professor at the University of Göttingen, Andreas Klärner deals intensively with issues of poverty and social inequality in rural regions. We are delighted to be able to continue our long-standing cooperation with the ASG.

The ASG is committed to improving living conditions in rural areas and in agriculture. It sees itself as an independent network, an initiator of critical discussions and opinion-forming, a platform for knowledge transfer, an expert on agricultural and social issues, and a communicator at the interface between science, politics, and practice.
