New publication about Forest ecosystem services

Ecosystem services in the tropics depend not only on land use and forest type but are also influenced by the landscape context.

Hence, not only the forest area decreases due to deforestation, but also the quality of services provided by the remnant forest. This aspect has been addressed less in past publications. In order to restore these services, restoration measures should be locally adapted.
