Permanent Position

Starting on the 1st of December 2021, Dr Rattiya S. Lippe joins as a scientist with a permanent position in the Fields of activity “Sustainability Assessment, Forests and Society”.

Dr Rattiya S. Lippe’s research activities will include analysing the importance of certification systems for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), developing requirements for a consistent global system of certification, analysing and quantifying of sustainability effects of legal regulations and policies. She will continue conducting research on the labour market in the forest sector.

Dr Lippe received her PhD in Agricultural Economics from Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand and worked as a Postdoctoral researcher from 2011 to 2019 at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. Since April 2020, she has been a scientist at Thünen Institute of Forestry in the WoodForWork project.
