Björn Seintsch and Lydia Rosenkranz from the Thünen Institute of Forestry provided insights into the institute's structure and activities, as well as into forest accounts.
The visit concluded with a guided tour of Gerald Koch's wood collection at the Thünen Institute of Wood Research. The participants' keen interest, reflected in numerous questions, was particularly encouraging.
The high demand for the visit – 50 registrations with only 10 available places – also underscored the general interest in the event.
