Monitoring data from Thünen Institute, concerning contaminants in fish an marine litter at the seafloor contribute to environmental assessment of the Baltic Sea.

Newly published: the HELCOM thematic assessment "Hazardous Substances and Marine litter" in the Baltic Sea under HOLAS 3. This report contains numerous data from Thünen monitoring activities like e.g. caesium-137, mercury and PAH metabolites in fish. Also monitoring data concerning litter at the seafloor are included in the report.
