Development and test of fishing gears to support the sustainable (in terms of economy and ecology) use of aquatic living ressources with focus on

     ◦ Reduction of unwanted bycatch
     ◦ Minimizing negative effects on the marine environment
     ◦ Reduction of energy consumption

Survey technology

Remotely controlled underwater vehicles (ROV and ROTV)
