Huge carp ponds, one hundred hectare and more, characterise the Barycz Valley in Lower Silesia

In Germany we observe very little investments in new aquaculture facilities. The political objective is, however, a substantial increase in aquaculture production. In this part of the SUCCESS project we analyse production systems in aquaculture and fisheries and assess their competitiveness.
