Christian Bergholz at the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor annual meeting in Casablanca

The 25th annual meeting of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) took place from 12th to 15th February in Casablanca, for the first time on the African continent. Christian Bergholz from the Thünen Institute represented the German national team there together with Florian Täube from the RKW Competence Center.

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) is the largest global research consortium for the international comparative analysis of start-up activity (see https://www.rkw-kompetenzzentrum.de/gruendung/global-entrepreneurship-monitor-gem/). This year, the 25th annual meeting took place in Casablanca. This year's main topics were "Female Entrepreneurship" and the Moroccan and African perspectives on entrepreneurship. As the representative of the German country team, Christian Bergholz was able to take part in numerous interesting presentations and discussions and exchange ideas with entrepreneurship researchers from various countries.
