Visit of Rectors of Universities from Kyrgyzstan

On August 11, 2022, Thünen Institute of Forestry received a visit from two professors from Kyrgyzstan, Dr. Aibek Upenov, Rector of the Talas State University and Dr. Ermek Baibagyshov, Rector of the Naryn State University.

The two sides exchanged information on ongoing research activities of the working area Forestry Worldwide and the two universities in Kyrgyzstan, and discussed potential areas for future collaboration, in particular related to forest landscape restoration.
