A strong cohort!

Master students from the marine biology class from University of Bremen visit the Thünen Institute for a course in fisheries biology for the second time these days. The students dissect fish, remove otoliths, take biological measurements and analyse data. The goal of the course is that they get an impression of the everyday-life as an applied fishery biologist. The different subjects include fish anatomy, fish reproduction, age readings, data analysis and fisheries economy.
