Ann Hipp gave a research presentation on the spatial mobility of inventors from specific technological and social contexts using the example of the reunification of Germany. Her results indicate that the involvement of inventors in their social context is crucial for their subsequent mobility decisions. Petrik Runst's presentation focused on the growth profiles of innovative companies without research and development departments, primarily found in rural areas.

Since 2012, GEOINNO has provided a platform for research exchange on scientific, political, and strategic topics related to the spatial dimension of innovation activities: www.geoinno2024.com
