Rubén Ferrer Velasco - new staff member

Since June Rubén Ferrer Velasco is member of our team in the department ‘Forestry Worldwide’.

Rubén Ferrer Velasco is an environmental scientist and a specialist in Geographical Information Systems from Barcelona. He has studied living and environmental sciences parallel to geoinformatics at different Universities from Spain, Portugal, Denmark and Germany. He holds two degrees (Diplom) in Biochemistry and Biotechnology and a M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences - engineering stream- under Erasmus Mundus.

For the LaforeT project Rubén Ferrer Velasco is working in terms of acquirement, management and analysis of relevant geographical data for the Philippines, Ecuador and Zambia.
