The datapool comprises increment records of forest trees and their reaction on silvicultural treatments from the lowlands of Petén. The 97 permanent sample plots partly exist since 1992 and contain data of 14,000 trees. These data represent a unique scientific treasure which will be analysed by Lina Ávila during her internship at the Institute of International Forestry and Forest Economics. The results will contribute to the discussion of sustainable forest mangement of tropical moist forests.
