51st Colloquium on forest economics in Hamburg-Bergedorf

The 51st Colloquium on Forest Economics was hosted by the Thünen Institute of International Forestry and Forest Economics in Hamburg-Bergedorf from 9-11 September 2019.

About 35 scientists from Germany, Austria and Switzerland took part in the scientific conference. In addition to the scientific exchange in various lecture sessions, the thematic focus of this year's colloquium was on the implementation of the Timber Trade Security Act. Among other things, the Thünen Centre of Competence on the Origin of Timber and a timber trader from Hamburg was visited.

The Colloquium on Forest Economics is an annual scientific conference of German-speaking forest economists from Hungary, Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
