The requirements of a legal and sustainable wood utilization were presented by Gerald Koch, Thünen Institute of Wood Research, interviewed by Simone Farresin (Formafantasma). Furthermore, the importance of anatomical wood identification for the control of internationally traded timber and wood products was demonstrated. The symposium was staged in the special atmosphere of the National Library (Biblioteca Nazionale Braidense).
