Thünen-Research Prize 2014 for Margret Köthke, Bettina Schröppel and Peter Elsasser

Christian Morland joined our department 'Forest Products Markets' in August 2014.

The Thünen Working Paper 27 on "Costs of Sustainable Forest Management in the Tropics - State of Knowledge" has been published.

Margret Köthke completed her Ph.D. Thesis about "Climate change mitigation through forest management, afforestation and avoided deforestation - analysis of accounting approaches" on 6th of May 2014.

Since May 2014, PD Dr. Sven Günter is our new head of department 'Sustainable Tropical Forest Management'.

The publication "National REDD + reference levels deduced from the global deforestation curve" by Margret Köthke, Bettina Schröppel and Peter Elsasser has been published in Forest Policy and Economics Volume 43.
