Agent-based modeling to estimate angler behavior on management decisions and stock development of  Baltic cod

Scientific background

2018 -April 2019 Employed at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Diet analysis of Cod and Flounder and their interactions.

2015-2018 Master of Science in marine ecosystems and fishery sciences at the Institute of Hydrobiology and Fishery Sciences (IHF), University of Hamburg. Master thesis at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU): „Diet overlap between Cod (Gadus morhua) and European Flounder (Platichthys flesus) in the central and eastern Baltic Sea.”

2016-2018 Work as a student assistant at the Institute of Hydrobiology and Fishery Sciences (IHF) of the University of Hamburg. Among others: Sampling and stomach content analysis of cod, telephone surveys of fishermen and creation of databases.

2015-2017 Participation in various research trips with the FS Alkor and FS Heincke on the Baltic Sea as a student, volunteer and student supervisor.

2012-2015 Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Hamburg. Bachelor thesis in cooperation with the Thünen Institute of Fisheries Ecology: „Kann die in der landwirtschaftlichen Tierproduktion eingesetzte Phytase auch im Magen von Tilapien wirken? In vivo und in vitro Untersuchungen.“
