Working Groups and Committees

Working Group - CommitteeTasks
ICES
Working Group on Crangon Fisheries and Life History (WGCRAN)The priority of WGCRAN is to understand the interactions between the brown shrimp population and fishing effort, and between the shrimps and the environment and ecosystem.
Working Group on Spatial Fisheries Data (WGSFD)WGSFD provides estimates of spatial distribution of fishing effort and develops further methods and indices, for example those representing fishing intensity and frequency. This includes indicators supporting advice regarding the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) and the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD).
MSFD
Adhoc - Expert group Human Activities (EK HA)The aim of this expert group is to create the essential basis for the identification, recording and evaluation of human activities.
