Deputation as of January 1 to the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture in Bonn

The Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) deputed Sebastian Glasenapp to move to Bonn until 30.06.2020.

Sebastian Glasenapp graduated in wood science and worked at the United Nations as well as the University of Hamburg before he came to the Thünen Institute in January 2017, engaged at the Institute of International Forestry and Forest Economics.
Sebastian Glasenapp’s field of expertise includes statistical and econometric analyses of forest products markets. Use of wood for energy generation in German as well as international markets is of particular interest to him.

At the BMEL Sebastian Glasenapp closes a temporary vacancy at the unit 515 Sustainable Forest Management, Timber Markets and remains a colleague and contact point to the institute.
