  • Since 2011: PhD-student within the VECTORs project at the Thünen-Institute of Sea Fisheries (TI) and the Institute of Hydrobiology and Fisheries science (IHF) at the University of Hamburg
  • 2009 - 2011: Erasmus Mundus Master of Science in Marine Biodiversity and Conservation at the University of Ghent (Belgium), Algarve (Portugal) and Paris (France) and the NOAA, Northeast Fisheries Science Center, Woods Hole, MA (United States). Master thesis: "Quantifying catch performance of Turtle Excluder Devices in the Northwest Atlantic bottom trawl fishery"
