Taking samples after incubation

We compared the N2, N2O and CO2 data of a mesocosm-experiment (constant temperature, two water contents) with (surface and injected application) and without organic manure. The water, nitrate, ammonium, pH, water-extractable organic carbon, 15N-NO3 content of the layers of the soil columns were measured twice. We used the data to understand the manure induced hot-spot effect and the manure-soil boundary layer.
