AGMEMOD in brief

AGMEMOD is a system of econometric estimated partial equilibrium models of the different EU member states representing and projecting important agricultural activities of the regions.

Numerical simulation model

Typical application

Impact analysis of change in the CAP (e.g. intervention price cuts, quota abolition)

Important co-operations

AGMEMOD partnership with the research institutions LEI, INRA, FOI, MTT, TEAGASC, VUZE, IEABG, EAU, LSIAE, LAEI and universities BOKU, UCL, NKUA, CUB, UNIVPM, UNL, SAU, LJUB as well as the EU Commission (JRC: IPTS)

Special features

  • EU-wide  co operation of member states and (possible) candidate countries
  • Template of a country version which will be adapted to national characteristics by the Thünen Institute for Germany and other project partners for their countries respectively
  • Graphical user interface
