The Thünen Institute of International Forestry and Forest Economics of the Johann Heinrich von Thünen-Institute, Federal Research Institute for Rural Areas, Forestry and Fisheries, in Hamburg invites applications for a part-time position with 31 hours per week as
a Scientist (m/f/d)
as project team member of the research project Monitoring the sustainability of the bioeconomy in Uruguay (BioMonUruguay).
The position is limited to a fixed term until the 31.12.2021 and is to be filled as soon as possible.
The Thünen Institute is a Federal Research Institute in the portfolio of the Federal Ministry for Food and Agriculture (BMEL). Its task is to develop scientific decision support for politics and to expand knowledge for the benefit of the public. The working area of forest and society examines and assesses the costs and benefits as well as the sustainability of the multiple benefits of forests.

The employment contract is based on the provisions of the collective agreement for the public service (TVöD); payment of the fee is according to fee group E 13 (TVöD).
