1998 – 2006: Studies of Biology at Freie Universität Berlin, Germany with majors in botany, ecology, and zoology.  

2008 – 2012: Research assistant at Freie Universität Berlin with research and teaching duties.  

2008 – 2013: PhD studies at Freie Universität Berlin. PhD thesis topic “Interactions of invasive plants with soil biota”.  

Since 2016: Postdoctoral researcher at the Thünen Institute of Forest Genetics, Waldsieversdorf, Germany. Here I am working on the project „Erarbeitung biotechnologischer Methoden zur Identifizierung, Erhaltung, Vermehrung und Nutzung selektierter Riegelahorn-Bäume für die Wertholzproduktion“.
